Today members of the law enforcement community gathered in front of Supreme Court today to endorse Glenn Yost for State Assembly in the 62nd District.
Said former Borough President Ralph J. Lamberti, “I believe this country has become too divided. What we need now is someone to unite us – not divide us. I believe that Glenn Yost is the right person for the job that is why I am endorsing Glenn Yost for State Assembly in the 62nd District.”
Said Anthony I. Giacobbe, former Supreme Court justice, “I have known Glenn Yost for many years. Whether he was a police officer working deep undercover to bust up drug cartels or an attorney practicing family law and working with State Senator Andrew Lanza on legislation to help Staten Islanders, Glenn Yost tackles every job before him with gusto. Glenn knows the law; he knows Albany; most of all, he knows Staten Island which makes him the right person to serve in the New York State Assembly to fight for the people of the South Shore. I wholeheartedly endorse Glenn Yost to become the Republican nominee for Staten Assembly in the 62nd District.”
Said former NYPD Commanding Officer of the 120 Precinct, Inspector Richard Bruno, “I have had the pleasure of working with Glenn in the New York City police department and the one word I would use to describe him is ‘honorable’. Glenn served the people of New York City in many capacities. He went deep undercover and executed over 500 buy and bust operations. He served in the robbery division of the 73rd PCT Brooklyn, where he ended a scourge of robberies plaguing small business owners. Then he came to Staten Island where he became the youth officer at the 120 Precinct where he developed the largest Youth Council in New York City consisting of more than twelve hundred young people. No matter what the job, Glenn gives it his all. I am confident that Glenn Yost will be a tireless fighter for the people of Staten Island which is why I am endorsing him for State Assembly in the 62nd District.”
Said New York State Senator Andrew Lanza, “Glenn Yost has served our community with integrity, honesty, and intelligence. Glenn served our city with great passion and dedication as an NYPD Detective. He understands what it takes to deliver for our community. Glenn’s track record of success will allow him to hit the ground running on day one as our Assemblyman. I look forward to having Glenn as a partner in Albany so that we can work together on behalf of the people of Staten Island.”
Said Glenn Yost, “I am humbled to receive the endorsement of these respected members of the law enforcement community. Borough President Lamberti, Justice Giacobbe, Inspector Bruno and Senator Andrew Lanza are among the most respected public servants in New York City. I am honored to have their confidence and I promise to work tirelessly on behalf of the people of the south shore to fulfill their expectations.”
