GLENN YOST, REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE FOR STATE ASSEMBLY IN THE 62ND DISTRICT, ENDORSED BY COMMUNICATIONS WORKERS OF AMERICA LOCAL 1102
Staten Island, NY – Today, Glenn Yost, Republican candidate for NYS Assembly in the 62nd District, was endorsed by the men and women of the Communications Workers of America – CWA Local 1102.
CWA 1102 Political Director, Joe Tarulli, said this about the endorsement, “We held candidate endorsement interviews and we interviewed a bunch of people. We wanted a candidate who would best represent the CWA 1102 – people who understand the safety of our plants. People who can get things resolved – especially in the atmosphere we are in today. Someone who has spent his adult life in service to the community. Someone who has risen through the ranks as a police officer. We believe Glenn Yost is the right person to represent CWA Local 1102 in this (62nd) district and everyone at our union meeting agreed.”
The Communications Workers of America represents over 700,000 members in various sectors, such as telecommunications, law enforcement, and healthcare.
Said Yost, “I am honored to have you supporting me. We are beginning a relationship that will last a very long time. I was in a union and I know what it is like to have union support when you need it most – when you have issues in the field or safety requirements. Some of those issues can be resolved through legislation. I am here for you and I couldn’t be prouder to have your support.”
